Iona lies about 1 mile from the coast of Mull. It is only 1 mile wide and 3.5 miles long with a population of just 125. A island of typically Hebridean beauty, it holds a unique place in the story of Scotland and Christianity. In the summer months thousands of people visit the island to experience the island's amazing beaches and visit the historic Iona Abbey.
Once you come off the Iona ferry at the village, turn left and it's about a 20-minute walk to the campsite.
